Massimiliano Granceri Bradaschia is: Urban and Environmental Planner, Climate adaptation specialist, Project and Programme Evaluator, Researcher, Lecturer, Process facilitator.
I hold a European M.Sc. in Urban and Environmental Planning (IUAV-University of Venice) and I have developed my diverse professional experience as a scholar and as a practitioner in Brazil, France, Spain, and Italy. Currently, I’m developing my Ph.D. thesis, titled “Mainstreaming Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) into Local Planning. Insights from Barcelona and Turin municipalities” at Turin Polytechnic University and the University of Turin (Italy).
My work interests are on CCA – I pursue more than 5 year of experience in this field – specifically on its mainstreaming across sectors and scales. I’m also interested in emergency planning and management for climate-related extreme events and to the nature-based and water-sensitive approaches (e.g. Green-Blue Infrastructure, Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems).
